Animal charities
During the spring we donated gloves, aprons and masks to a number of animal charities: VOC Malderen vzw, ‘t Kattenkwaad vzw Izegem, Helga’s Poezenhuis opvang vzw and Cattitude vzw. The employees wear disposable clothing and accessories to take good care of their shelter animals and to protect them from any diseases that may be circulating.
A prime example of Protect and Care’s motto…
A caretaker at Helga’s Poezenhuis opvang vzw described her gratitude: “Thanks to your help with the aprons, Saskia can take care of little Nox without the risk of infection. We are so happy with your help. During the kitten season we regularly receive sick kittens and it’s those little ones that are a source of infection (giardia, parvo,…). Qualitative protective clothing prevents a lot of misery then. Thanks again!”
